Albion Online recently released a YouTube video summarizing their 2024 updates and outlining their plans for 2025. The video, which has garnered 1.2 million views and 14,000 likes, provides a comprehensive overview of the game’s progress.

The video begins with a brief introduction, followed by a discussion of the four major game updates released throughout 2024. These updates introduced significant features such as territory raiding, Crystal weapons, fortifications, territory activity chests, the Alan Journal, a revamped Roads of Avalon, new points of interest, increased rewards for higher-tier mobs, and safe portals for solo players.

Looking ahead to 2025, the developers plan to introduce new small-scale objectives, innovative ways to establish bases in the outlands, expanded trade opportunities, and crucial usability improvements. They also emphasize their commitment to addressing the economic development of the gold market.

The development schedule for 2025 is also undergoing adjustments. While updates will continue to be released between seasons, the duration of each season will be shortened from three months to two months to allow for more thorough development cycles.

Beyond the immediate plans, the developers highlighted several key areas of focus for 2025, including a re-evaluation of Hell Gates and corrupted dungeons, improvements to the initial player experience, a concerted effort to increase the diversity of territory warfare and guild seasons, and enhancements to Faction Warfare.

The video concludes with a heartfelt thank you to the players for making 2024 a successful year, along with warm wishes for the holiday season and the new year.
