Ultima Online: New Legacy Introduces Two Paths for Skill Gain
Ultima Online: New Legacy is a new expansion pack for the classic MMORPG Ultima Online. One of the most exciting new features in New Legacy is the two paths for skill gain: the Narrative path and the Divergent path.
The Narrative path is for players who want a more traditional Ultima Online experience. This path is filled with deep storytelling and moral choices. Players will also experience a few surprising moments along the way. The Divergent path is for players who want a more fast-paced and challenging experience. This path starts with a 30-minute gauntlet on the front lines of Britania. Players who survive the gauntlet will be rewarded with accelerated skill gain.
Both paths eventually open up to advanced skill training. This allows players to create custom character builds. For example, a Warrior could learn Bard skills, or a Ranger could hunt with a pet dragon.
