EVE Online: Revenant Expansion Brings New Features for Corporations and Alliances
The upcoming Revenant expansion for EVE Online is bringing a host of new features designed to make corporations and alliances stronger than ever before. One of the most exciting new features is expanded project parameters, which allow projects to have multiple values in some of the parameters. This will make it much easier to create complex projects or reflect complex goals with just one project.
Another new feature is project deadlines, which allow you to create projects with automatic expiration dates. This is less burden on you to manage the projects and a good information for your members to have so they can choose the projects that expire soon to be able to contribute to them. Additionally, participation limit will enable you to limit the contributions per contributor, allowing more of your members to contribute to the projects.
Finally, ship insurance is a new contribution method that is an improvement to ship loss. Ship insurance will pay out automatically the value of the ship lost as per the kill mail, including the ship value, the fitting, and the cargo. This contribution method allows you to set it so that it compensates either 100% of the value of the loss or 10% or 50% or 150%. This will make it possible to account for some oddly priced items in your Fleet Doctrine or to incentivize members to fly some ships in particular, like Logistics.
In addition to these new features, the Revenant expansion is also bringing new custom skins for corporations and alliances. Corporations and alliances can now target the listings for their skins, so that only members of that Corporation can see the skin and purchase it. Brand managers when they target a listing towards their corporation or Alliance won’t be charged any Hub listing fees or anything like that.
The Revenant expansion is also adding a second pattern slot for custom skins, which will allow corporations and alliances to create even more unique skins for their members. Players will also be able to randomize the patterns and colors on their hulls, which will make for some crazy looking skins.
