FOUNDERS’ UPDATE: GREAT STUFF IS HAPPENING!

Welcome to another Founders’ Update for Crowfall! We’ve had a LOT of great stuff happening over here at ACE during the last week — so let’s get right to business!

1. FUNDRAISING
Achievement unlocked! We set a goal of raising $1 million to add to our Crowfall development budget, and last week we crossed the $1MM line!

2. ANGEL LIST SYNDICATE
In addition to our direct fundraising efforts, we also have a syndicate (Moonshots Capital) on Angel List that is raising a small fund to invest in ArtCraft.  As we noted in previous updates, AngelList is an online platform that allows accredited investors to invest in new start-ups. Even though we’ve already hit our target, rest assured that the money raised by Moonshots will be used to grow ArtCraft and make Crowfall a better game! Moonshots has decided to close the round on 9/15 and, at the request of some potential investors, they are lowering the minimum investment to $2K to participate.

3. CROWFALL COLLECTOR’S EDITION
We’re excited to announce that within a week we’ll be offering pre-orders of our Collectors’ Edition game box! It will be available for $150 (a pre-sale discount off the retail price of $179) + shipping and taxes (depending on your location). 4. PRE-ALPHA COMBAT TESTING CONTINUES
Combat testing has started, and the response so far has been fantastic!  We’ve gotten a ton of great feedback and, as expected, plenty of new bugs to fix. The most gratifying thing has been that people have been having fun in the Hunger Dome; the most aggravating has been people who can’t play or who have a bad experience due to bugs, hardware issues or performance. Thank you all for your continued patience as we work through these issues and make the game work for everyone!

5. MORE COMBAT TESTING INVITES ON THE WAY
More invitations will be coming soon — so be sure to check the forums to know when to keep an eye on that inbox! Information about the date and time of the next window can be found HERE. It’s important to note that although testers from the group called “Alpha 1” are being added, we are still in PRE-ALPHA.

6. STREAMER WEEK
Once all of our Alpha 1 players have received Hunger Dome invites, we will be inviting a small number of streamers to participate in a limited number of the Crowfall pre-alpha combat test sessions. Slots are limited, so please be aware that initial selection will be based not only on your willingness to participate but also your audience reach and other criteria listed HERE.
