Xsyon players are enjoying their second major update this month, thanks to the recent trade patch, which follows on the heels of the architecture update from May 8th.
The trade patch adds the trading post, from which players may obtain “valuable patterns, schemes, and blueprints for crafting and building.” The update also lays the groundwork for various building uses including taverns, toll gates, workshops, welcome stations, and infirmaries, according to Notorious Games‘ announcement post. You can view the full patch notes on Xsyon’s website.
Post-apocalyptic sci-fantasy MMO Novus Inceptio is now on Steam Greenlight. The indie title aims to diverge from current MMO norms and create an “integrated living world” featuring “hardcore suvival action, tactics, and strategy.”
The Greenlight description mentions character aging and permadeath, attributes that increase with use and decrease with neglect, and effects such as illnesses, injuries, and exhaustion. All ofNovus Inceptio’s items are made by players, and the Steam description devotes quite a bit of verbiage to things like exploration, building, and freeform character advancement. Early access is planned for Q4 of 2015.

Ask Trion Worlds if they are merging servers and the answer is absolutely not, in the traditional sense at least. According to Trion’s community manager Scapes, server transfers are inhibited by the fact that the process currently needs to be done manually. An automated version is currently in development and will hopefully be available later this year, allowing characters and even entire servers to be transferred.
More details will become available at some point, just don’t call it a merger.
We do not currently have plans to merge servers in the traditional sense. Instead, we plan something altogether different and look forward to revealing the plan as soon as we work out the details.
Linda “Brasse” Carlson has also been making the rounds on ArcheAge’s forums to remind players that the merger will be “non-traditional.”
Those are the other obvious questions. I also realize that it’s hard to pose questions before we put up at least a bare-bones FAQ on our plans. Bear with us. We’ll be talking about this with all our fellow players for MONTHS before it comes to pass, and your input is important.

The Repopulation is a Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game. The action takes place on the planet Rhyldan, with the only known remaining human population fighting for their very existence. The indigenous life forms did not meet their colonization efforts with open arms. Worse yet, humans have managed to splinter themselves into warring factions.
It is a sandbox oriented MMORPG with an eye on innovation. Rather than forcing players down preset paths they are instead allowed to walk the path which they enjoy the most. With a variety of combat oriented and non-combat activities to pursue, we believe we’ve created a game that can stand the test of time.
Star Vault has released their first quarter sales for 2015, and the results are rather positive. While sales are down from where they were last year, net sales increased over the fourth quarter to $68 thousand. Likewise, Star Vault’s net loss fell substantially from over $100 thousand in Q4 to $61 thousand this quarter.
According to Star Vault’s report, the number of subscribers remained about the same over last quarter.
CEO Henrik Nystrom’s note:
We have recruited a further enhancement to our team, in the form of an experienced programmer with great interest in game development. This gives us the resources for the Steam release. Our new additions will work in several areas of development in Mortal Online – it’s great with fresh eyes coming from outside that can give feedback on what areas can be improved. We also have an additional encoder remotely in the US who now helps us with GUI and flash programming.

Notorious Games has announced the launch of Xsyon’s latest update, introducing a trading post to the post-apocalyptic MMO. The trading post allows for trade with tribes beyond the mist, and accompanies several other tweaks and improvements.
This update sets the stage for many upcoming building uses including infirmaries, welcome stations, taverns, craft workshops and toll gates. Along with the current commissaries, trade totems and quest totems, these building types will help players create active town centers to bring together players old and new.
